1. Set a container
Take sixty quiet seconds. One breath. Tarot works best when you are not multitasking — not because the cards are magic, but because you need space to notice your own reaction.
2. Ask one honest question
Open questions beat yes/no traps: “What should I understand about this job change?” beats “Will I get hired?” If you only have a binary question, use our four-card yes/no spread — it shows both pulls instead of forcing one answer.
3. Choose a spread
Match depth to energy: one card for speed, three cards for timeline, seven for obstacles and advice, ten for full context. See the spreads guide for every position.
4. Draw and read positions
Each card sits in a position — “Challenge” is not the same card as “Outcome.” Read the position label first, then the card name, then upright or reversed meaning from our deck text.
5. Journal one sentence
What felt true? What felt resisted? Save readings in our tarot journal (private, on your device). Patterns emerge over weeks — that is the real “accuracy.”
6. Keep probabilistic language
Say “may suggest” not “will happen.” DreamNoos never issues medical, legal, or financial commands. Tarot highlights themes; you keep agency.
